The management of Galatasaray football club has expressed frustration over the frequent absence of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech from both domestic and European matches due to injuries.
According to the Turkish newspaper “Akşam”, the Galatasaray management is concerned about Ziyech’s frequent absence from the team’s starting lineup, as he has been sidelined due to injury on multiple occasions, missing out on crucial matches.
The same source reported that the Turkish team is considering the possibility of not purchasing Ziyech’s contract from Chelsea, pending an assessment of his performance at the end of his loan period, which expires at the end of the current season.
Ziyech, the Moroccan international, suffered an injury during the match between Morocco and Zambia in the third round of the group stage in the Africa Cup of Nations, which prevented him from participating in the round of 16 match against South Africa.
Ziyech has missed the last five matches in the Super Lig due to injury, having only participated in nine matches this season, during which he scored two goals and provided assists in the last.
