Cameroonian defender Gaëtan Bong, formerly with Valenciennes, has signed a contract with Olympiakos Piraeus. The 25-year-old left-back confirmed the move on his Twitter account, announcing, “It’s okay, it’s done, I’m an Olympiakos player!!!” Bong has agreed to a three-season deal with the Greek club, with a transfer fee of one million euros plus bonuses. Olympiacos’ sporting director, Pierre Issa, is reportedly considering the Malian midfielder Sambou Yatabaré from Bastia as the next potential signing.
