Gabriel Martinelli set for Al Hilal switch as Arsenal finalise €65m-plus deal

Gabriel Martinelli has given the go-ahead to join Al Hilal, with the Saudi Pro League club and Arsenal now reviewing the contracts for a transfer worth more than €65m.

The Brazil international is understood to be approaching the final stages of a move during the current summer transfer window. The agreement has not yet been completed, but negotiations are progressing towards a conclusion, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The 24-year-old forward played 53 matches for Arsenal last season, scoring 11 goals across all competitions and providing seven assists. Those appearances came in a campaign in which Martinelli remained an important attacking option for the north London club.

His potential departure would bring to an end his current spell with Arsenal, where he has established himself as a prominent forward. However, the clubs are still completing the contractual details before the transfer can be formally confirmed.

The latest update indicates that Martinelli has already agreed to the move in principle, while the remaining work is focused on the final documentation between Arsenal and Al Hilal. The proposed fee would make the deal worth more than €65m.
