Gabonese international Mario Lemina has officially rejoined Turkish giants Galatasaray, completing a move from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a reported fee of €2.5 million.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who previously played for Galatasaray during the 2019-2020 season, returns to Istanbul after a strong campaign in the Premier League.
Lemina made 17 appearances and scored one goal for Wolves but opted to reunite with the Turkish club, where he had left a positive impression.
Galatasaray Secure Experienced Midfielder
Galatasaray moved swiftly to reinforce their midfield, attracted by Lemina’s physical presence and experience.

Contract Details
Lemina has signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with Galatasaray, with an option for an additional season.
Under the terms of the agreement, he will earn €1.25 million for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season and €2.5 million for the following campaign.
If the contract is extended to 2026-2027, he will receive the same amount for the extra year.
With his return, Galatasaray have secured a player familiar with the Turkish Süper Lig and one capable of making an immediate impact.
The Gabonese midfielder is expected to play a key role in the club’s ambitions for the rest of the season.
