Gabon host Niger with contrasting starts to Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifying

Gabon host Niger in Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers on Tuesday, with the two sides approaching the match from very different positions.

The Pantheres are looking to recover in front of their home supporters after losing 2-0 to Morocco in their opening fixture. Niger, meanwhile, began their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Lesotho and will travel to Franceville hoping to build on that result.
