FUS Rabat secured an impressive 2-1 victory against Raja Casablanca on Sunday in a rescheduled match from the 18th round of the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi.” The game, held in Mohammedia, showcased FUS’s resilience as they overturned a first-half deficit to claim all three points.
Raja Casablanca broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute through Houssine Rahimi, giving the visitors a deserved lead heading into the halftime break.
However, FUS Rabat came out stronger in the second half, leveling the score in the 59th minute with a well-placed effort from Reda Laalaoui.
The momentum shifted firmly in FUS’s favor, and Ayoub Mouloua delivered the winning goal in the 84th minute, capping a spirited comeback performance.
With this victory, FUS Rabat climbed to fifth place in the league standings, joining Maghreb Fez on 32 points. Meanwhile, Raja Casablanca’s struggles continued as they remain in eighth position with 24 points from 18 matches.
