Royal Moroccan Football Federation has officially announced the opening of ticket sales for the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Morocco from May 13 to June 2.

According to the federation, tickets will go on sale on Friday at 3:00 p.m. local time through the official ticketing platform, WeBook.

The first phase of ticket sales will cover matches scheduled to take place at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium, including Morocco’s opening match of the tournament.

Ticket prices have been set at affordable rates, with Category 1 tickets costing MAD 30 and Category 2 tickets available for MAD 20. The federation hopes the pricing structure will encourage strong fan attendance throughout the competition, especially during Morocco’s matches.

The Morocco national under-17 football team enter the tournament as defending champions and one of the favourites to lift the continental title once again on home soil.

The Atlas Cubs are continuing preparations at the Mohammed VI Football Complex under coach Tiago Lima, with training intensity increasing ahead of the start of the tournament.

Morocco will officially kick off their campaign on Wednesday, May 13, against Tunisia national under-17 football team in Rabat.

The host nation has been placed in Group A alongside Egypt national under-17 football team and Ethiopia national under-17 football team.

Beyond the battle for the continental crown, the tournament also carries major importance because qualification for the 2026 FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar is at stake. The eight teams that reach the quarter finals will automatically secure qualification for the global competition.

The tournament is expected to attract significant attention from scouts and clubs eager to monitor some of Africa’s brightest young football talents.
