Espérance Sportive de Tunis (EST) has expressed its dissatisfaction with the massive call-up of its players for the friendly match between Tunisia and Congo. The coach of the Carthage Eagles, Nabil Mâaloul, announced a list of 24 players for the friendly match on August 14, including 16 players from the local championship, with nine from Espérance Sportive. The club is proud to see its players represent the national team but is unhappy about the timing of the call-up, coinciding with the preparation for the CAF Champions League. EST, currently second in Group B, has an important match against Séwé Sport on August 18 and regrets not having its internationals available for proper preparation. The club will only have its full squad at its disposal from August 16.
