Good news for Nigeria! The Super Eagles bounced back strongly with a convincing 3-0 win over Cameroon in a friendly this Sunday during the international break.
Ambroise Ifeanyi scored just before halftime to open the scoring. Despite the sending off of Cameroon’s Stéphane Mbia in the 47th minute, Nigeria maintained control. Victor Moses added a second goal in the 61st minute, and Odion Ighalo sealed the win with a goal in the 88th minute.
This result came after a tough 2-0 loss to DR Congo last Thursday.
Both Nigeria and Cameroon are now gearing up for the second round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Russia.
