Nabil Jaadi, a talented young Moroccan player who impressed during pre-season training with Anderlecht, caught the attention of Rachid Taousssi, the coach of the Moroccan national team. Despite not having played an official match for Anderlecht in the Jupiler Pro League this season, Jaadi was called up for Morocco’s friendly match against Burkina Faso on August 14. However, the 17-year-old winger declined the invitation, expressing his desire to keep his options open for representing the Belgian national team, the Red Devils. Another Belgian of Moroccan origin, Zakaria Bakkali of PSV, has also shown a preference for playing for the Red Devils.
