Morocco Announces Squad for Friendlies Against Benin and Zimbabwe Amid AFCON Uncertainty
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Morocco’s hosting of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations due to the Ebola outbreak, national team coach Badou Zaki has moved forward with preparations. On Monday morning, he unveiled the squad that will face Benin on November 13 and Zimbabwe on November 16, both fixtures scheduled at the Agadir Stadium.
Morocco is considering withdrawing from organizing the tournament out of health concerns, but the Atlas Lions remain active on the field.
