Ghana has secured a friendly match against Cape Verde on November 13 in Lisbon, Portugal, following the cancellation of a planned friendly between Cape Verde and Angola. The original match between Cape Verde and Angola was canceled after the draw for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) placed them in the same group (Group A alongside Morocco and South Africa). The new fixture provides Ghana with an opportunity for a sparring match during the FIFA Days on November 14 and 15. Ghana is in Group B of CAN 2013, along with DR Congo, Niger, and Mali.
