Gabon is set to square off against Senegal in a friendly match as part of their preparations for the African Cup of Nations football qualifiers. The announcement was made by the newly appointed president of the Gabonese Football Federation, Pierre Alain Mouguengui. The match is scheduled to take place on May 21 in Libreville.
Mouguengui stated, “After reviewing the current situation, we deemed it necessary to schedule a match for May 21 in Libreville.”
The draw for the qualifiers is slated to take place on April 27 in Cairo.
