For its upcoming friendly match against Mexico on March 5, Nigeria will be facing a formidable lineup of players competing abroad.
Mexican coach has called up eight of his internationals who play in major European leagues. Among them are notable names such as Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez from Manchester United, Giovani dos Santos from Villarreal, and Guillermo Ochoa from Ajaccio.
Additionally, Aquino from Villarreal, Moreno from Espanyol Barcelona, Reyes and Herrera from Porto, and Guardado from Bayer Leverkusen are also included in the squad.
However, Real Sociedad’s Carlos Vela will not be participating in the match. The remaining selected players for the Mexican squad will be announced in the coming days.
