Arnaud Montebourg, the Minister of Productive Recovery known for his advocacy of “Made in France” products, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the French national football team’s jersey not being made domestically. This protest was highlighted on the front page of Parisien Magazine.
In an interview with RTL on Tuesday morning, Montebourg questioned why the jersey is manufactured in Thailand when similar products could be produced domestically. He emphasized the importance of utilizing domestic resources and called on the French Football Federation to take action, given their financial means, stating, “When they have more resources, they have to do more, and the French Football Federation has the means, so I’m not happy.”
