French Ligue 1 outfit Racing Strasbourg have agreed a deal to sign Senegalese midfielder Pape Demba Diop.
The club is currently in the transfer market to sign new talents to bolster the squad of team for the 2025/26 football season.
After various negotiations with Belgian Pro League club Zulte Waregem in the last few weeks, Strasbourg have reached an agreement to sign Pape Demba Diop.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the transfer is all but done.
“Excl: Strasbourg agree deal to sign 21-year-old midfielder Pape Demba Diop from Zulte Waregem.
“One more talent to be added for present and future to BlueCo project,” Romano said in a post on X.
Pape Demba Diop, in the last few years, has improved his game and is regarded as one of the most exciting African players.
He has played for Senegal’s U20 and U23 national teams and also has one cap for the Teranga Lions.
