Marseille secure long-term future of Elies Diallo

Marseille have secured the future of promising Algeria forward Elies Diallo following a breakthrough spell in their youth ranks.

The forward, born in 2010, has been turning heads since joining Marseille’s U17 side, quickly establishing himself as one of the standout attacking prospects in the academy setup.

Diallo arrived at the club at the end of 2025 after a successful trial in September and has since made a strong impression with his performances in front of goal.

The Algerian youth international has already registered six goals and two assists for Marseille’s U17 team, underlining his rapid progress and attacking instincts.

His performances have not gone unnoticed within the club hierarchy, with Marseille now moving to secure his long-term future through a contract extension.

Diallo, who represents Algeria at U16 level, is regarded as one of the emerging talents in the club’s youth system, with coaches reportedly impressed by his technical ability, movement and composure in the final third.

The extension is seen as a clear signal of Marseille’s commitment to nurturing their top academy prospects as they continue to invest in long-term talent development.

For Diallo, the new deal marks another important step in a promising career that is still in its early stages but already showing significant potential.
