French-Ivorian winger Brice Nanou joins Manduria on a free transfer
French-Ivorian winger Brice Nanou has joined Manduria from Avetrana on a free transfer, completing the move on 11 August 2026.
Nanou, 29, plays primarily on the left wing and is capable of operating with his right foot. Born in Abidjan on 10 September 1996, the 1.73m forward moves to Manduria after one season with Avetrana, who he joined from French club Choisy-au-Bac in August 2025.
His arrival adds another experienced attacking player to Manduria’s squad. Nanou has spent the majority of his senior career moving between clubs in France and Italy, with his recent football taking place in both countries.
Before joining Avetrana, Nanou was with Choisy-au-Bac during the 2023-24 season. He had moved there from Italian side Sud FC at the start of 2024, following a spell with Grottaglie that began in July 2023.
Nanou’s time at Grottaglie came after his move from French club Beaucouze in July 2022. He had previously played for St. Beaucairois and SO Cholet B, also making earlier career stops at Cal. Braves, Nova Mama Mia, Edusport Academy, Olimpia SM, Unirea Dej, Paray FC and Montrouge FC.
The winger’s move to Manduria follows a sequence of transfers completed without a fee. His most recent switch, from Choisy-au-Bac to Avetrana, was also a free transfer, as was his move from Sud FC to Choisy-au-Bac.
Nanou now begins a new chapter with Manduria after leaving Avetrana, with the Italian club confirming his arrival on 11 August 2026.
