French-Ivorian prodigy Desire Doue backed to become a top player amid excellent campaign with PSG

Franco-Ivorian Désiré Doué Sets Sights on 2025 Golden Boy Award

French forward of Ivorian descent, Desire Doue, has been backed by PSG teammate Lee Kang-In to become one of the best in the world in the coming years.

Desire Doue, 19, he been the breakout star at PSG in the 2024/25 football season, joining the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Gianluigi Donnarumma as the top performing players for the Parisians.

On Saturday, Desire Doue featured for PSG in the French Ligue 1 when the team locked horns with Le Havre.

The prodigy scored in that game, helping the runaway league winners to secure a 2-1 win.

Speaking in a post-match interview, South Korean player Lee Kang-In praised his teammate, describing Doue as an excellent player.

“He’s an excellent player. He’s having a great season. I hope he keeps going like this, scoring a lot of goals, making plenty of assists. He will become a top-level player,” Kang-In said.

Following his goal against Le Havre, Desire Doue now has six goals in the French Ligue 1 and has scored 13 goals in all competitions.
