France-born attacker of Ivorian descent, Elye Wahi, has been linked with a possible departure from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2026.

According to reports from Sky Germany, while Michy Batshuayi is already tipped for a possible winter departure, Wahi has now also emerged as a player whose future at the club remains uncertain.

Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that although Frankfurt’s management still believes in Wahi’s potential and would prefer to keep him, they are open to discussions should a significant offer arrive in January.

The 22-year-old forward is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2030, but the club may be tempted to negotiate if the right proposal comes through.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s stance reflects a balancing act between nurturing a promising young attacker and managing potential high-value transfer interest from top European clubs.

With the winter window three months away, anything could change for Wahi.
