France defender of Ivorian descent, Leny Yoro, has been ruled out of Manchester United’s clash against Chelsea in the English Premier League on Friday, May 16.
The centre-back sustained an injury during the defeat to West Ham United at Old Trafford last Sunday.
He went down shortly after halftime and was seen limping into the tunnel.
Due to the injury, Leny Yoro will be absent when Manchester United host Chelsea in the English Premier League on Friday.
He joins the likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Ayden Heaven, and Diogo Dalot who have all been ruled out of the upcoming clash.
United manager Ruben Amorim now faces a headache and will need to find a solution to avoid a disastrous result against top-four chasing Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Amorim has indicated that he is not sure if the injured players will recover in time for the Europa League final or not.
“I don’t know if they are going to be available. We are going to try and push because it is the final matches and there is a final. All the players want to play in that really bad, “Amorim said.
