France-born defender of DR Congo descent, Stanley Nsoki, is close to sealing a move to German Bundesliga club 1. FC Union Berlin.
Sources have confirmed that Nsoki is one of several players who will be leaving TSG Hoffenheim this summer.
Hoffenheim, keen to trim their squad, have already lined up a loan move for striker Haris Tabaković to Borussia Mönchengladbach and now appear ready to part with Nsoki as well.
According to French journalist Marc Mechenoua, the 26‑year‑old defender will head to the Stadion An der Alten Försterei on loan, and Union have secured an option to buy.
Nsoki arrived at Hoffenheim three years ago from Club Brugge in a €12 million deal but has struggled to convince consistently, registering 59 competitive appearances for the Kraichgau club.
A switch to Union Berlin could therefore offer the former France youth international a fresh start in the Bundesliga.
