Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed, who has reportedly agreed to a summer move to FC Nantes, could see his career take another turn with two Ligue 1 clubs expressing interest in securing his services for the next season.

A source close to the player has revealed to Africafoot that the 26-year-old forward has received offers from both Olympique de Marseille and RC Lens.

“What I know about Mostafa Mohamed is that he has two offers. An offer from one of the big clubs in the French championship, Marseille, and another from Lens,” the insider stated.

Mohamed, who has had a stint with Galatasaray, currently has a market value of 10 million euros and is under contract with FC Nantes until June 2027.

Despite this, it appears that both the player and Nantes are considering ending their partnership, providing an opportunity for Marseille and Lens to swoop in.

Mostafa Mohamed’s potential move has attracted attention not only in France but also from clubs in the Gulf region, with interest reportedly coming from Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

These developments suggest that the striker’s career could take a significant leap, whether he remains in Europe or moves to the Middle East.

Marseille and Lens are keen to capitalize on the apparent dissatisfaction between Mohamed and Nantes.

For Marseille, adding a forward of Mohamed’s caliber could enhance their attacking options as they aim for domestic and European success.

Lens, on the other hand, sees Mohamed as a valuable addition to bolster their squad and maintain their competitive edge in Ligue 1.

Mohamed’s annual salary at Nantes stands at 1,770,000 euros, a figure that potential suitors will consider in their offers.

As negotiations progress, it will be intriguing to see where the Egyptian international lands and how his presence could impact the fortunes of his next club.

The coming weeks promise to be pivotal for Mostafa Mohamed, with his future in French football hanging in the balance as top-tier clubs vie for his signature.
