France striker of Cameroonian descent Hugo Ekitike is open to leaving Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer transfer window.
Although the German Bundesliga club will play in the UEFA Champions League next season, Hugo Ekitike believes he is ready to move to a bigger club.
According to club sporting director Markus Krösche, they will not stand in the way of the striker if he decides to move on in the summer transfer window.
“He’s one of the most interesting strikers on the European market. Hugo has to decide that. I’m glad we have him. If he decides otherwise, that’s our credo: If a player develops faster than us, we let him go,” Markus Krösche told Sport1 in an interview.
Hugo Ekitiké is currently under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2029.
However, due to his outstanding performance in the German Bundesliga, the forward is a transfer target of several clubs.
In the 2024/25 campaign, the forward scored 15 goals and provided nine assists for Frankfurt.
Already, the likes of Liverpool FC, Manchester United, and Arsenal FC are all interested in signing the attacker.
He will have the chance to assess his options in the off-season before deciding on his next move.
