France-born defender of Cameroonian descent, Sacha Boey, has decided to stay at Bayern Munich for the 2025/26 football season.
In June, the full-back was linked with a departure from the German Bundesliga club over limited playing time.
Last month, he was reportedly a transfer target of several clubs, including Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray.
In the last 24 hours, sources have indicated that Boey does not want to return to his former club in Turkey despite the club’s best efforts to reach an agreement with Bayern Munich.
Instead, Sacha Boey is now determined to stay at Bayern Munich to fight for a place in the starting eleven.
It is understood that Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is open to the idea of keeping Sacha Boey at the club and is happy to include him in his final squad for the season.
Kompany believes Boey will add to the quality and depth of his squad for the new football season.
