France defender of Cameroonian descent, Sacha Boey has reportedly agreed personal terms with Olympique Marseille.
The full-back has been linked with a move away from German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich and is said to be eager to sign for the French Ligue 1 side this summer.
Transfer expert Ekrem Konur reports that while no official deal has been signed, Boey and Marseille have finalized personal terms. The player is now awaiting Bayern Munich’s approval to complete the move.
A return to his former club Galatasaray is said to be off the table, with their interest having cooled.
Foot Mercato adds that a loan move with an option to buy is one of the possibilities being discussed, though Bayern are reportedly not in favour of such an arrangement.
Meanwhile, the Bundesliga champions are actively assessing their defensive options, with Tottenham’s Pedro Porro and Chelsea’s Malo Gusto among the names being considered.
If Bayern Munich can find a replacement, the club is said to be willing to sanction the transfer of Sacha Boey.
