Speaking on the transfer, Werder Bremen head of professional football Peter Niemeyer said, “It’s important for Skelly to get more playing time. He didn’t have that prospect with us recently. Therefore, we’re happy that we’ve found this solution. We’re confident that his playing time in Amiens will increase significantly and he’ll gain a lot of match experience.”
Alvero, 23, initially joined Werder Bremen on loan from Olympique Lyon, before being signed permanently in the summer of 2024.
Before his return to France, he made 20 competitive appearances for the Green-Whites and scored one goal.
