Free agent Paul Pogba to train with Galatasaray amid search for new club

France international of Guinean descent, Paul Pogba, is reportedly set to train with Turkish giants Galatasaray as he works towards making a comeback to competitive football.

Pogba, a free agent since mutually terminating his contract with Juventus last month, is seeking a professional environment to regain his fitness ahead of his anticipated return to action in March 2025.

This follows the reduction of his doping ban from four years to 18 months on appeal.

Reports indicate that Pogba, through his agents, has expressed interest in joining Galatasaray’s training sessions. The club, actively competing in the Turkish Super Lig and the UEFA Europa League, could provide the midfielder with the structure he needs to rebuild his form and fitness.

The 31-year-old midfielder, a former standout at Juventus and Manchester United, has reportedly attracted interest from several clubs, including Olympique Marseille. Starting in January, Pogba will be eligible to train while continuing his search for a new team.

Meanwhile, Manchester City is also rumoured to be considering the possibility of signing the once highly-rated midfielder. This interest adds to speculation surrounding his future as clubs weigh the potential risks and rewards of bringing him on board.
