German-born midfielder of Equatorial Guinea descent, Noel Aseko, is on the verge of joining Eintracht Frankfurt from Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga clubs expected to complete the transfer in the coming days.

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the two clubs are close to finalising the deal, with an official announcement anticipated this week.

Frankfurt agree fee for promising midfielder

The transfer is expected to cost Eintracht Frankfurt at least €12 million in guaranteed payments.

Bayern Munich had initially sought a fee of up to €15 million, but Frankfurt have now moved decisively to secure the highly rated 20-year-old on a permanent basis.

The deal represents a significant investment in one of the Bundesliga’s promising young talents.

Long-term project in Frankfurt

Aseko is expected to sign a long-term contract with Frankfurt, where he will be offered the opportunity to play regular first-team football.

The move is seen as an important step in the youngster’s development, with Frankfurt providing a pathway to consistent minutes at the highest level after his time with Bayern.

Comfortable operating as a defensive midfielder and capable of contributing in defensive roles, Aseko will now look to establish himself in the Bundesliga and continue his rise in German football.

For the Equatorial Guinea youngster, the transfer offers the chance to take the next step in his career while strengthening Frankfurt’s midfield options ahead of the new season.
