Franco-Guinean star Paul Pogba to mark AS Monaco debut in October

France international of Guinean descent Paul Pogba is expected to mark his debut for French Ligue 1 giants, AS Monaco in October.

Pogba, a member of the France squad that won the 2018 World Cup in Russia has yet to make appearance for Monaco since joining the club in the summer transfer window.

The 32-year-old secured a move to the Principality club in June, penning a two-year deal with the club. Having not played a professional game for two years, a three-month programme was implemented to get Pogba to full fitness.

The former Manchester United and Juventus star is now set to return to action for Monaco after the next international break.

Pogba will likely make his debut against Angers in the French Ligue 1, slated for October 18, 2025.

The experienced midfielder is expected to add bite to the midfielder of Monaco, who are keen on making a meaningful impact in the 2025/26 football campaign.

At the international level, Pogba has made 91 appearances for the France national team, scoring 11 goals across the period.
