Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth are on the brink of signing French international of DR Congo descent Alex Disasi in the current transfer window.
Disasi joined Chelsea in 2023 from French side Reims for €13 million, but struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, making just 61 appearances.
The 26-year-old centre-back was farmed out on loan to Aston Villa last January and made only five appearances for the club.
Negotiations are in full swing, with the defender is expected to seal a move to the Cherries in the coming days.
Bournemouth are eager to secure the signing as soon possible in an attempt to bolster their defense, having lost key players this summer.
Disasi is joining Bournemouth as a replacement for Dean Huijsen, who recently joined Real Madrid. His current contract with the Blues runs until 2029.
