France international of Congolese descent Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United.
The 26-year-old joined Juventus during the January transfer window after falling down the pecking at Paris Saint Germain.
Whilst there is significant uncertainty surrounding Kolo Muani’s future, the attacker has no future at PSG, who recently won the Champions League. The former FC Nantes and Eintracht Frankfurt forward failed to convince Luis Enrique, forcing his loan move in January.
In his short spell at the club, Muani racked up nine goals in 19 appearances across competitions for the Serie A giants.
Juventus are hoping to negotiate with the Parisians either for an extended loan or a permanent transfer.
In a dramatic turn of an event, Chelsea and Manchester United are said to be closely monitoring the situation of the attacker as they seek to snap up him this summer.
Chelsea are ready to table a more attractive offer—a full transfer with an upfront payment, giving the London club a significant edge in negotiations, especially if the French giants decide to sell the player.
It is worth noting that Kolo Muani himself has admitted he feels comfortable in Italy and hopes to stay at the club for another season—but everything will depend on PSG’s stance and the financial offers from the competition.
