Franco-Cameroonian midfielder Dina Ebimbe explains French Ligue 1 return after Brest switch
France international of Cameroonian descent Éric-Junior Dina Ebimbe has explained his decision to return to the French Ligue 1 after joining Stade Brest.
The 24-year-old returns to France, three years after leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join Eintracht Frankfurt, initially on loan before making the deal permanent deal.
However, the midfielder, who signed on loan deal to join Stade Brest, marking his return to France has offered explanation to his decision.
“To get my confidence and my rhythm back. There is no better place to do that than in a league that you know, rather than in an unknown league or somewhere where it hasn’t gone so well; it is always harder. But when you come back to your home country, your first league, things logically go well because you have your points of reference. That’s why it was important for me to come back to France” he said.
The midfielder is expected to make an appearance for Brest in the upcoming French Ligue 1 games this weekend.
