France international of Algerian descent Yassine Benhattab has been linked with a loan move French Ligue 2 outfit EA Guingamp ahead of the winter transfer window.
The 23-year-old winger, who is in the books of FC Nantes impressed at the beginning of the Ligue 1 campaign, starting the four opening matches of the season.
He was exciting in the opening day match against Paris Saint Germain, where his outfit succumbed to a defeat.
However, Benhattab has since featured much less prominently, having fallen down the pecking at the club. His last start for Nantes was in mid-September.
Having fallen out of favour under Nantes’ previous manager Luís Castro, he then started Ahmed Kantari’s first game in charge, a 4-1 loss against SCO Angers.
However, despite making his return to the starting eleven, the midfielder could now leave on loan to join EA Guingamp.
The Ligue 2 side are looking to finalise his arrival in the coming. Guingamp are seeking to sign the midfielder on a loan deal until the end of the season.
