A recent survey conducted by France Football reveals notable differences in the popularity rating of Franck Ribéry between France and Germany. According to the survey, only 29% of French respondents have a positive image of Ribéry, while 64% of German respondents view him positively. In terms of being considered the best current French player, only 25% in France hold this view, compared to 63% in Germany. The survey suggests that Ribéry continues to face consequences from the controversies during the 2010 World Cup, with 69% of French respondents believing that his talent hasn’t made them forget his involvement in the Knysna strike. Additionally, only 24% of French respondents believe Ribéry deserves the France Football Ballon d’Or.
