Franck Kessie targets Serie A return as summer move gathers pace
Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie is pushing for a return to Italy ahead of the summer transfer window, with his representatives already working to secure a move back to Serie A.
The Al-Ahli player, who previously made his name at AC Milan, is understood to have instructed his agents to explore options in Italy where he enjoyed some of the best years of his career.
According to reports from Tuttosport, Kessie has been offered to both Inter Milan and Juventus. The Ivorian midfielder is seeking a deal worth around €5 million per year as he eyes a return to one of Europe’s top leagues.
At Inter, sporting director Piero Ausilio is reportedly interested and has already included Kessie on his shortlist of midfield targets as the club plans for next season.
One key factor that could accelerate negotiations is Kessie’s contract situation. He is set to become a free agent at the end of June, making him an attractive low-risk option for clubs looking to strengthen without paying a transfer fee.
