At just 19 years old, Gabonese footballer Franck Engonga is on the brink of realizing his dream by potentially joining the renowned Boca Juniors club. Engonga, who currently plays for CF Mounana in Gabon, is undergoing tests with Boca Juniors after catching the attention of club officials during the London 2012 Olympic Games in July.
If the tests go well, Engonga could become the first Gabonese player to play in Argentina and may be offered an initial five-year contract with Boca Juniors. The young talent, whose current contract with CF Mounana runs until 2017, is in constant contact with Boca Juniors officials, and there is anticipation that he might sign a significant contract with the legendary South American club in the coming days.
