Franck Anguissa made quite an impression last week during the Europa League match between Marseille and Groningen. Coming on with about twenty minutes left, the Cameroonian midfielder showcased his potential with a strong performance. However, OM coach Michel sees room for growth.
“He’s a young player we didn’t expect much from initially, but he’s proving he has good qualities,” Michel said at a press conference. “We want him to get everything in his head and feet aligned. He has a good personality, but sometimes he gets a bit hot-headed. We need to help him calm down a bit, but he’ll get there.”
It sounds like Anguissa’s raw talent is clear, and with some maturity and guidance, he could become a key player for Marseille.
