French police apprehended a resident of Isère who was caught in the act while attempting to rob the headquarters of Olympique Lyonnais. After incidents involving break-ins at players’ homes and stadium locker rooms, this time the criminal was intercepted during an attempted theft at OL’s club offices in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon.
Upon breaking in, the burglar confessed to his actions. All stolen equipment and clothing belonging to Olympique Lyonnais were recovered and returned to the club. The individual was taken into custody and subsequently released pending his trial, which is expected to occur in a few weeks. The incident occurred last Friday evening.
