**Paul Pogba ruled out of France’s friendlies with ankle injury**
France midfielder Paul Pogba will miss the national team’s upcoming friendlies against Armenia and Denmark due to a sprained ankle.
The Juventus player sustained the injury during a challenge with teammate Yohan Cabaye. After undergoing an MRI scan on Thursday, Pogba was given medical clearance to leave the squad and return to Turin for treatment, the French Football Federation confirmed.
In his absence, Cabaye has been called up to replace Pogba in Didier Deschamps’ squad as the French team looks to maintain momentum in their preparations.
