France | Ligue 1: Lille Boosted by the Arrival of Origi, Sidibé, Meïté and Traoré

Lille Name 19-Man Squad for Monaco Clash

Lille have announced their 19-man squad ahead of Saturday’s Ligue 1 encounter against AS Monaco, with head coach René Girard forced to make several adjustments due to injuries.

Defenders Djibril Sidibé and youngsters Soualiho Meïté and Adama Traoré have all been included, alongside Belgian international Divock Origi. However, striker Michael Frey is absent, and centre-back Simon Kjær misses out after sustaining a hamstring injury during Lille’s recent outing in Brittany.

Midfielder Marvin Martin also remains unavailable as he continues to work on regaining full match fitness.

Lille squad vs AS Monaco:

Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyeama, Steeve Elana
Defenders: Franck Béria, Sébastien Corchia, Djibril Sidibé, Marko Basa, David Rozehnal, Benjamin Pavard
Midfielders: Rio Mavuba, Florent Balmont, Soualiho Meïté, Adama Traoré, Jonathan Delaplace, Sofiane Boufal, Rony Lopes
Forwards: Ronny Rodelin, Nolan Roux, Divock Origi, Kevin Koubemba

Lille, who currently sit mid-table, will be aiming to bounce back with a strong performance against a resurgent Monaco side.
