Olympique de Marseille has decided to part ways with coach Elie Baup following the team’s recent defeat against FC Nantes during the 17th day of Ligue 1. This makes Baup the fifth coach to be fired since the start of the season, joining the ranks of Eric Hély (Sochaux), Daniel Sanchez (Valenciennes), Fabrizio Ravanelli (Ajaccio), and Jean Fernandez (Montpellier). José Anigo, the sporting director of Marseille, is expected to serve as the interim manager.
