Didier Deschamps Names France Squad for Friendlies Against Spain and Serbia
France coach Didier Deschamps has named his squad for the upcoming friendlies against Spain (September 4) and Serbia (September 7). Nearly all players from the 2014 World Cup quarterfinal squad have been recalled.
Olivier Giroud, sidelined by injury after his recent Everton clash, is replaced by Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, who impressed throughout the 2013-2014 season.
France squad:
Goalkeepers: Mandanda, Lloris, Ruffier
Defenders: Debuchy, Digne, Evra, Koscielny, Mangala, Sagna, Sakho, Varane
Midfielders: Cabaye, Matuidi, Mavuba, Pogba, Schneiderlin, Sissoko
