The France Espoirs (Under-21) team is set to face Germany on August 13 in a friendly match. However, coach Willy Sagnol will be without the services of Paul Pogba, who is physically unfit due to a late return to training after the Under-20 World Cup. Additionally, Massadio Haïdara and Yaya Sanogo won’t be available due to injuries. Haïdara suffered an adductor injury, while Sanogo had to withdraw from the squad. In response, Sagnol has called up Bryan Dabo (Montpellier), Benjamin Jeannot (Nancy), and Aymeric Laporte (Athletic Bilbao) as replacements.
