Nampalys Mendy, the midfielder from Nice, has withdrawn from the French junior team’s two Euro-2015 qualifiers in September due to injury. The player, who recently joined Nice, sustained a calf injury in the Championship last weekend. Following examinations on Tuesday morning, it was revealed that he has a hematoma in his calf. The medical staff estimates that Mendy will be unavailable for “at least fifteen days.” As a result, he will miss the junior team’s matches against Kazakhstan on September 5 and Belarus on September 9.
