France international, Kylian Mbappe, has apologised to Real Madrid teammates after being sent off against Alaves over the weekend.
The Cameroon-born attacker was red carded for his hard tackle on midfielder Antonio Blanco, with whom he also apologised after the match.
After the game, Mbappe apologised to his teammates and the coaching staff after being sent off with a straight red card 38 minutes into the match.
Mbappe made a hard tackle on Antonio Blanco, the result of frustration after being kicked twice by opponents.
Aware that he got carried away, Mbappe was affected by his action and after apologising to all his teammates, he also did the same to his opponent, Antonio Blanco.
Meanwhile, according to what referee Soto Grado wrote in the match report, it is quite likely that the Frenchman will be able to play in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona and will not receive a suspension of more than three matches.
Mbappe, is, however, expected to be in action when Real Madrid host Arsenal in the return leg of the quarterfinals of their Champions League game on Wednesday night.
