Karim Benzema: “Paul Pogba Can Become One of the Best in the World”
Speaking from Clairefontaine ahead of France’s upcoming friendlies against Portugal and Armenia, Karim Benzema took a moment to heap praise on rising star Paul Pogba.
The Real Madrid striker didn’t hold back his admiration for the Juventus midfielder, calling him “one of the best players of his generation.” Benzema emphasized Pogba’s performances at both club and international level, highlighting his ability to shine in high-stakes matches.
“Pogba is one of the best players of his generation. At club level as well as with the French national team, he’s playing big games,” said Benzema. “He can become one of the best players in the world in his position if he keeps working.”
Pogba, still in the early years of his career at the time, had already impressed many with his mix of physical dominance, technical skill, and tactical intelligence. Benzema’s comments reflect the growing consensus that the young midfielder was destined for greatness—provided he remained focused and continued to develop.
