Four top Premier League clubs chase Ivorian youngster Yan Diomande
Ivory Coast international Yan Diomande has popped up on the radar of four top Premier League clubs, Africasoccer.com can report.
The 19-year-old, who plies his trade for RB Leipzig is being monitored by several clubs in Europe including Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
Despite growing interest in the youngster, no concrete offer has been made by clubs pursuing the signature of the enterprising attacker.
Diomande is under contract with the German side until 2030, with no release clause stipulated his deal, making his acquisition a tough one.
As per reports, a potential transfer may take place after the 2026 World Cup, with RB Leipzig reportedly valuing the player at over €100 million.
Previously, only Tottenham and Liverpool were mentioned as suitors, but now the list of candidates has grown.
This season, Diomande has featured in sixteen matches for the German club across all competitions, registering seven goals and three assists.
Born in Abidjan on 14 November 2006, Diomande has followed an unconventional path. He moved from Yulee Hornets in the United States to DME Academy in 2022, before joining Spanish side CD Leganés ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. A subsequent switch from Leganés to Leipzig marked his step into one of Europe’s top five leagues.
His rise in perceived value has been steep. Market value data shows an increase from €600,000 at Leganés in May 2025 to €1.5m in June, then climbing sharply to €20.00m following his move to Leipzig by October the same year, underlining how highly he is now regarded.
