Former Raja Casablanca player Abdelhay Foursi returns to Indian football

Indian club Malappuram FC have announced the signing of Moroccan midfielder Abdelhay Foursi from Ittihad Touarga.

The club confirmed that Foursi will return to Indian football after spending the past period in Morocco, where he featured for Ittihad Touarga.

Foursi returns to India

Malappuram FC announced Foursi’s arrival during the summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad for the new season.

The Moroccan previously played in the Indian league before moving to Ittihad Touarga during the last winter transfer window.

Foursi has now decided to return to India following his spell in the Moroccan league.

Former Raja player joins Malappuram

Foursi has experience with several Moroccan clubs, including Raja Casablanca, Olympique Safi, Renaissance Zemamra and Ittihad Touarga.

His return to Indian football gives Malappuram a player with experience of both the Moroccan and Indian leagues.

The club confirmed that Foursi will wear the Malappuram shirt again during the new season.
