Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has heaped praise on Mohamed Salah, calling his consistency in front of goal “unbelievable.”
Salah delivered another stellar performance in Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Manchester City, scoring his 30th goal of the season and setting up Dominik Szoboszlai for the second.
“The consistency is unbelievable,” Owen told Premier League Productions when discussing Salah reaching the 30-goal mark for the fifth time in his Liverpool career.
“What can you say about the lad, he is just a total machine. Never ever gets injured, he’s got a great attitude (and) you never hear a peep out of him.”
While contract talks continue to generate much talk, Salah’s on-field brilliance remains undisputed. His ability to score at an elite level year after year places him among the game’s greats.
Many former coaches and pundits believe Salah deserves to be in the Ballon d’Or conversation, while fans argue this could be his best season in a Liverpool shirt.
